Buckhorn Grill in San Francisco

I only come here for the Cabo chop salad

Place - It is in Metreon. This spot is near washroom. There are 3-4 tables in there and a lot of tables in Metreon. Taste - I ordered one salad and meat. A mount of salad was huge. There were a lot of fresh ingredents. I thought the bowl is crispy but it was not. To me, taste of bowl was not good. Salad was great! The meat was not many. The taste was good but little bit fatty to me. Thin fried onion was good with meat! It was good to eat with salad. Service and Price - Service was nothing special and price is reasonable.

Really great food and really great staff who knew their menu and how to advise customers.

Great burger place which offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers and fries, which can also appeal to a vegetarian or a vegan. And located in the heart of San Francisco!

This place is clearly one of the finest place to eat in the region. Every time I go there I am highly happy. They always keep their very high level service and the highest level of dishes they provide. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

This restaurant gives amazing service and delightful food. One of my favourite spots in the area. The meals arrived quick and the prices are inexpensive. I recommend this place.

The portions are very large and will always fill you up. The best thing on the menu is the big buck sandwich. I would recommend this place to everyone

Ok food with GREAT service. The reason I did not give four stars - my sweet potato fries were freshly cooked, but cold in the middle (frozen food, probably not properly cooked). I'd give them another chance despite this. Tri tip and other American fare.

A good burger but nothing special. The location was convenient some I was seeing a movie at the metreon

Slow service. Burgers that we ordered were greasy and had a cold bun still frozen on top. I do not recommend.

Quick service, good food, lots of options from salads to burgers to tri tip sandwiches all at reasonable prices. The location is tucked all the way back at the end of the food court. The portions are also pretty large. A salad covers the entire plate and the burger buns are huge.

The food was delicious! Tender slices of meat easily cut with a fork and great flavor with a bit of a kick to it, but it's not overwhelming. Overall it was a delightful experience!

Good salads and great sandwiches. Also full on plates. Great tri tip. We enjoy an occasional lunch here while in San Francisco. This is in the Metreon so it's not a restaurant type establishment. More like eating at a mall. There is a lot of other food selections by other vendors. We enjoy eating at least once when in San Francisco. Recommend

The Bayou Peppered Salmon is full of so much flavours.

Would be a five but the Cesar salad just wasn't flavorful like it should be.

Bang for the buck...

Really great experience for my first time here. I ordered the tri tip burger and mashed red potatoes and a drink which cost jus a over $16.00. Everything from placing my order to receiving it was easy, quick, and pleasant. The food was amazing with generous proportions and the staff was extremely friendly and provided amazing service.

The tri tip is always on point. Amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing sauces.

Everything taste good, even better than I thought it would. Beer and wine on menu many good deals. Very pleasant employees. Pretty affordable and calm vibe. Think no more buckhorn grill fosho.

Good location for delicious BBQ. I like it here, great food & service. Prices are fair I would say. This place has good reviews for a reason.

Used to be a lot better. The meat now is fatty and sinewy. Not a great experience. The flavor is the only reason I keep trying, but I think I'm done with this place.

Their burgers are larger than the steak sandwiches. So if you're hungry, go with the burgers. The eatable bowl salad is fun to eat too.

The Metreon Buckhorn was extremely slow service due to short staffing. The tri tip was tough, average tasting and cut into two thin strips. Odd, small serving. They only had plastic knife and fork available which broke when i tried to cut the tough meat. Ugh, never going there again.

Tri tip is tasty but I got such an obviously poor cut I was surprised anyone would serve it. The pulled pork was good. The granny apple slaw was delicious. Glad I tried Buckhorn but I won't be back.

Got their Krispy Chicken and Avocado Salad (substituted pulled pork), side of Red Mashers and Gravy. Food wasn't bad. Came for lunch with people from work.

Order incomplete. Burgermeat heavily burned

Asked for a little extra lettuce on my salad and the guy refused to do so! "This is our portion!"

Where I had my first Tri -Tip Steak

I payed for a bacon cheddar burger, but my burger had no bacon not even cheddar. Service was relatively fast at least

I ordered my food as usual, I ordered the Cesar pleaser and I added a couple extra ounces of beef. I asked for medium rare cuts. After I paid, I noticed the cashier trying really hard to see the tip screen. I did not too. I believe you earn a tip from the service I give. I sat down and waited. Soon after I noticed the staff passing around a receipt which had to be mine because I was the only order. My order did not seem complicated to me. Anyhow, buzzer rang and the lady served mg plate across the counter with the dirtiest look on her face. She continued to scowl at me as I inspected my super well done cuts (I ordered medium rare) and my Cesar had no cheese or croutons in it. I didn't complain, I just ate my food as she continued to smirk and scowl while I ate it. That was the worst buckhorn experience I ever had. I will never visit that particular buckhorn. Furthermore, people should not be expected to tip before being served, it defeats the purpose of good service

Average food at average price, for a food center anyway. Burgers are nothing special, better than fast food but not as good as a real burger joint. Their sandwiches with their pulled pork have flavor, and the sauces they have are a good range with good flavor. However it's nothing to go specifically to or out of your way for. Convenience only, as there are much better choices out there.

Tri tip platter is a Carnivores Delight! They have salads that are Bomb ladies! Chicken salad??

I love this spot! They prepare high quality meals, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is very experienced, I enjoy very much trying all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the visitors is friendly. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.
